IANH Celebrates the Spring with a full swing

India Association of New Hampshire (www.IANH.org) greeted the Spring with a full swing with over 400 performers enthusiastically participating in the Dances and Music and Art competition. The event attracted a record number of crowd of about 1200 at the centrally located Nashua High School North in Nashua, NH.  The community members, guests and performers drove from the far off places to be part of this grand celebration.

The event turned out to be a very pleasant experience for the attendees who remarked it to be “One of the most well-organized events they have ever attended!”  The program started sharp on time with Music segment followed by the Dance segment. This large-scale event was pulled together by the great teamwork of the IANH officials, led by the IANH Cultural Chair, Jyoti Sharma along with the support of Mr. Balaji Radakrishnan - President, Mr. Manoj Chourasia - Vice-President, Dr. Tej Dhakar - Secretary, Mr. Anand Thippeswamy - Treasurer and other committee chairs:  Mr. Prasad Dabbi - Education, Ms. Vandana Dhakar Membership, Mr. Nagendra Bhanu - Public Relations, Ms. Barinder Ahluwalia - Public Service, Ms. Sushmita Anand - Youth Affairs, Mr. Aravind Patlolla - Web & Social, Executive Members - Mr. Ashish Bhardwaj, Ms. Parvathi Rao, Mr. Subrahmanyam Karedla.

Aneesha Karody of TaranaOm Creations sponsored the stage decoration that had set the perfect mood by it’s grand look for all the participants, who performed their best in their colorful costumes with beautiful props. The Vasant Bazaar attracted hundreds of buyers to dozens of vendors and info booths to admire their products and services. The art contestant stunned the crowd with their amazing artwork which making it challenging for the judges to pick the winners.

The competitions were judged by highly held artist of New England area - Prashant Soni, Rama Rao, Poopy Charnalia, Valli Amaravadi, Vaishnavi Kondapalli, Shiva Ramakrishnan, Vaijayanthi Gopalakrishnan, Padma Loganathan, Shikha Bajpai, Hema Iyengar, Sunanda Sahay and Gopika Narula - who all drove from far-off places to help judge the Art, Music and Dance competitions with all their dedications and enthusiasm. 

The hard work of teachers was very evident in performances of their students. Participation certificates were given to all the performers besides honoring the winners with the trophies.
