03/29/2018

IAGB announces ‘India Day Festival’ at the Boston City Hall Plaza

IAGB (India Association of Greater Boston) announced that it will celebrate its much-anticipated Independence Day celebrations on August 19, 2018 at the Boston City Hall Plaza. This marks India’s 71st Independence Day and the IAGB team is excited to continue the traditional celebrations in a different and exciting way.

The India Day Festival is being planned to be a day-long event at the Boston City Hall Plaza featuring various activities, including some cultural programs and other fun-filled engagement for all ages.

Boston is a melting pot of culture and arts. The Boston City Plaza boasts an open space that is not only easily accessible by public transportation, but is surrounded by other attractions like Faneuil Hall, Quincy Market and the Freedom Trail along with multiple parking options.

IAGB is in early planning stages and will soon announce the event details. Sponsors, exhibitors and food vendors are cordially invited to take advantage of this event. IAGB expects a large turnout, similar to its prior celebrations. Contact IAGB at iagb@iagb.org
