Miss/Mrs/Teen India New England-2017

The 6th annual event was held on December 10th 2017 at Crown Plaza Woburn.It was another wonderful show of the only Indian pageant in area, and prelims for 'Miss India USA'. Some amazing talents and faces made their name and proved themselves in on-stage question round. The contest had four rounds - Evening Gown, Ethnic Dress, Talent and Q&A.Winners of the pageant are- Jaskirat Kaur- Miss India New England 2017; Aakriti Raj -Miss India Teen New England 2017 and Shalini Kashyap -Mrs India New England 2017. Priya Bagade- Mrs India New Hampshire 2017. 1st Runner up Serena Arora (Miss India); Aishwarya Narayanan (Teen); Shweta Rawat (Mrs.), Miss India Talented- Nili Pandya, Miss India Teen Talented- Aishwarya Narayanan, Mrs India Talented - Iswarya Prabhakar. Viewer's Choice 2017 based on audience voting Shalini Kashyap


2017 pageant was judged by Anil Saigal, Lata Rao, Sheetal Kelkar, Kalpana Chatterjee, Neha Parikh, Shirin Bakre. The event was emceed by Shaila Verma (2015 Mrs India Viewer's Choice) and Krithi Nathan (2012 Miss India Teen New England). The Crowns were sponsored by IM Wireless and Glitterati.


New England team is getting reading to go to Nationals which will be held in New Jersey from Dec 15th to Dec 17th. In past five years- many of our New England girls have been placed as finalists and top 3 at Nationals, including two International winners from 2014 and 2016- Miss India Worldwide Monica Gill and Mrs India Worldwide Namita dodwadkar.


'Miss India New England' is a celebration of Indian culture and heritage in a vibrant atmomsphere. The annual show is a glorious evening to watch best of western fashion and exquisite Indian attires and see extraordinary array of talents. For participants- moments to fulfill dreams of catwalk, flowing evening gowns, glorious Indian emsemble, show their talent and a platform to speak and show their wit at on-stage question, all in a vibrant atmosphere.
