We are delighted to invite you to a one-of-a-kind evening where we celebrate and honor Heros in our community. The event will be held on December 16 at the Ambrosia Banquet Hall in Foxborough, MA. In the spirit of the holiday season, the event will be filled with great food, entertainment and an excellent DJ.

“Lokvani is all about the community and I felt they would be the perfect team to present a Community Heros Night” says Praveen Mishra, who approached Lokvani with the idea. Since celebrating the community is the core mission for Lokvani, we were delighted to pick up the idea.

“The idea of the event touches me deeply. I am honored to support the event”, says Shobha Shastry, of Alankar Decors who is helping shape the event.  “We are all about the community and supporting this event is very important to us”said Mukesh and Anil Patel, owners of Olive and Mint Restaurant.

We are planning to honor three groups of people at the event

*  Children who have accomplished something special this year. This could include performance of an Arangetram or winning a national award.
* People who have committed themselves to the service of the nation by enrolling in the Armed Forces.
* Unsung heros  - Volunteers who work hard to make things happen without seeking recognition
