Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Producer Arjun N. Kapoor, the makers of Fanney Khan have rubbished the rumors of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan being upset over the casting of R Madhavan opposite her. Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, in a statement, said, `It is quite unfortunate that such false and baseless stories are created to grab attention. There is zero truth to that, we are all a team and Fanney Khan is a dear project to the whole team.` `There are some stories doing the rounds about disagreement in casting for the film. We want to put the record straight and deny any such so called competition or discord amongst the makers.` He said the cast, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor, are `deep into prep for their roles and as thorough professionals do not interfere in process of casting for other roles`. It's a great story and we are all very excited to showcase it to the world,` said Arjun N. Kapoor of KriArj Entertainment.

Veteran Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor has landed himself in yet another controversy. Advocate Adil Khatri, who is also the general secretary of Jai Ho Foundation, has lodged a police complaint against the actor for posting an offensive picture of a child on his Twitter handle.  When indianexpress.com got in touch with Adil Khatri, he said, `We have filed a complaint with Mumbai Police Commissioner, Mumbai Cyber Cell and Ministry of Woman and Child Development against actor Rishi Kapoor for posting nude and pornographic image of a child on his Twitter account @chintskap.` He further said that Rishi Kapoor has been playing with cyber laws for too long, and now someone needs to teach him a lesson. He added, `We don't know who the child in the picture is, but it is offensive as the child is naked and a headphone has been stuck into his private parts.`

Kriti Sanon who has captivated her audience with a superior performance in Bareilly Ki Barfi has found an admirer in Amitabh Bachchan. As a token of appreciation, Bollywood's Big B sent a handwritten note with flowers to the residence of the young actress. Kriti's stellar performance in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's Bareilly Ki Barfi has drawn accolades from the audience as well critics alike. The latest audience to the slice of life flick was Amitabh Bachchan who touted Kriti's performance as ' competent and excellent'.

Kajol posted this photo with Manish Malhotra on Instagram. The photograph was clicked by Vidya Balan and Kajol captioned the picture, "Finally a social occasion where I look at least as good as my BFF... credits: @balanvidya; thanks babe."Malhotra commented on the picture stating, "The best... and you are gorgeous my dearest." In 2015, there was tattle about Malhotra being miffed with Kajol for her alleged interference during the shooting of Dilwale. Another of Kajol's long-term pal Karan Johar, with whom she recently patched up, liked the picture minutes after it was posted. Kads has brokered peace with both her old buddies.

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have been maintaining a low-profile.  The two were not spotted at the Ambani Ganpati bash, which was attended by the who's who of B-Town. Saif also chose not to celebrate his birthday (August 16) with industry folk. Those in the know say it is intentional as they want to concentrate on their films.
