IAB Awards Two Scholarships

On June 1st Burlington High School had their BHS Scholarship Award night for the class of 2017. Along with many Burlington organization, IAB – Indian American for Burlington was represented by Dinesh Tanna and Gini Datta at the ceremony.

For the third year in a row, Indian Americans for Burlington (IAB) provided two scholarships of $500 each to two graduating seniors. The winners of the two scholarships were:

Meghna Verma - STEM Scholarship
Anusha Dattar - Volunteer Scholarship

IAB would like to thank all the donors for their financial contributions that made this possible. IAB would also like to congratulate the two students scholarship recipients and wishes them good luck as they go off to college and follow their dreams.

Villagers from remote rural Ekal villagers trained in dance and music have been touring the US presenting a spectacular multi-media show called “Ekal Sur Ekal Tal”.
