India Society of Worcester to convene Panel Discussion for Shrewsbury Selectman Candidates


SHREWSBURY, MA   


The India Society of Worcester, which is one of the area’s most dynamic community organizations,  is organizing a candidate open house and  panel discussion where they hope to provide residents an opportunity to meet with candidates who are currently running for Selectman.


The discussion will take place on Saturday April 1st  at 12:30 PM  at

India Center

152 Main street,

Shrewsbury MA

Agenda :

12:30 - 1:00   Meet and Greet, with an opportunity to meet and interact with the candidates one on one.

                     Light refreshments will be served.

1:00  - 2:30    Panel Discussion with Candidates

“There are several important issues at stake in these local elections and we want to offer a platform for residents to educate themselves on these issues” said Ashish Cowlagi, President of the India Society. “While ISW is a non-sectarian and non political organization, we want to provide a platform for our entire local community to meet and and engage with all of the candidates running for the two open positions.”   He stressed that the event is free and open  for all local residents,  and not just ISW members.
