Hindu Temple Of New Hampshire: Chennai Flood Relief Efforts
In response to an appeal from several low-income families in an area in Chennai that was hit hard by the recent floods, the Hindu Temple of New Hampshire is working on a focused and targeted effort to support basic rehabilitation of these families. The first phase of the project was recently initiated with the delivery of some essential items including groceries, pillows, and blankets to several needy families in Bharathidasan Colony – K.K. Nagar, Chennai.

R.J.Grey Students' Success At FLL State Championship
A team of 4 students from R. J. Grey Junior High, Acton MA, competed at the Massachusetts First Lego League (FLL) State Championships on Dec 19th and came in 2nd. The Robonauts - Rohan Chakravarthy, Niranjan Narasimhan, Pratik Bharadwaj and Rahul Ulman - all 8th Grade students, qualified to represent Massachusetts at the FLL North American Open Championships at LegoLand in San Diego, CA in May 2016.

Indian Americans Of Lexington Hold School Committee Forum
IAL recently held a School Committee Candidate Forum at the Cary Memorial Library on Feb. 7th to question the candidates on some of these issues. Candidates included Sandro Alessandrini, Claire Sheth and Eileen Jay. The objective was to raise awareness about the School Committee with IAL and Indian Americans.

Double Header Concerts By Renowned Artists From India At The Chinmaya Mission, Boston
The double header event held at the Chinmaya Maruti Auditorium featured world renowned Carnatic music artists Ranjani and Gayatri on April 29th and Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sanjay Subrahmanyan on April 30th. Both concerts were sold out days ahead of the program. Music fans from California, Indiana, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine and New Hampshire attended the concerts along with the Boston faithful.
