New England Sampreeti organized a Damakedar Diwali extragavanza on October 29th in Hudson, NH with a sold out crowd of more than 650 people. The event was organized by Shaan Bagachi, Sanjay Chatterjee, Tanima Banerjee, Biswa Bhattacharya and Sugata Bhattacharjee. This was the third year that NE Sampreeti organized this Diwali Extraordinaire!
The highlight of the event was the fireworks. Since fireworks is legal in NH, every family was given a set of sparklers and fireworks which the adults and children thoroughly enjoyed.
Prior to the fireworks, the priest from New Jersey conducted Kali Puja and blessed the audience. Following the fireworks, the attendees enjoyed a delicious dinner, a game of tambola and finally lively music by two Zee-Saregamapa artists Soumen and Brishtilekha.
