Mass-Rhythm: Music Festival
A Union of traditions from accross the globe

About Mass-Rhythm: Our Vision:

On October 15th, 2016 we brought together leading musicians and artists, whose styles are often not showcased as one, to create a never-before heard Live Music Festival, Mass-Rhythm. Audiences got to witness cultures colliding through live-improvisation and experience new traditions and musical styles not yet known. This festival was held in the Burlington MA, featuring up-to seven musicians and traditions at a time.

Driven by the desire to bring preeminent artists from across the world to you, we ask you to be a part of the dream to connect cultures through the powerful art of music. The hope is to create a dialogue amongst artists that will help to unite and elevate their respective traditions. Simultaneously our desire is to contribute to the cultural fabric of our society by sharing musical traditions rarely seen in the United States.

About the Festival Director, Amit Kavthekar:
As a professional percussionist with over 25 years of experience, I have connected with leading musicians from South Africa to Chile, from Japan to Italy in concert.
