Actress Soha Ali Khan says her mother and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore loved her de-glam look in the forthcoming film "31st October" -- based on the anti-Sikh riots in the aftermath of Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's assassination in 1984. "My mother came to know about this film through a friend. She watched the trailer and loved my non-glamourous look in the film. She appreciated my appearance as a Sardarni and in the second half she said I am looking like a Bengali while disguising as a Hindu during the escape," Soha said at a film's press conference.

Actor Akshay Kumar has offered help to the ailing producer of his first film, Ravi Shrivastava. Shrivastava was the producer of the first project Akshay signed as an actor in 1991. The movie titled "Dwarpaal," was shelved and he made debut with 1992 film "Saugandh".

"Yes sir, my team has reached out to him...Already taken care of," the 49-year-old actor wrote on Twitter in reply to one of his followers, who shared the link of the article on the ailing producer. Shrivastava, was the one who helped Akshay in getting a role in "Saugandh". According to the reports, the producer is suffering from kidney failure and needs money for the transplant. Shrivastav is bed ridden right now.

Karan Johar is "stressed out" and he has said all what he feels, said director-choreographer Farah Khan on Wednesday reacting to Karan Johar's video message clarifying his stand on Pakistani artistes working in India. "We were shooting together yesterday. Karan is a dear friend of mine. I know he is stressed out and he has said it all what he feels," she said when asked about controversy over 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' which features Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in an important role.
