New England Shirdi Sai Parivaar celebrated Karva Chauth with lot of zeal and pomp.

Karva Chauth is a very important ceremony observed by women in North India. Women keep a hard fast all day long until the moon rise and offer prayer to Lord Shiva and Parvathi for the longevity of their beloved husband.

The pooja / celebrations were performed in two sessions to accommodate everyone.

As in the past, the ritual was facilitated by Smt. Ranjani Saigal ji. She chanted the mantras and guided all the women to perform the pooja in a righteous way. The importance of the pooja was well narrated by her.

All the women were dressed in their best finery and beautifully decorated the pooja thalis.  People expressed their happiness to be celebrating the event in the divine presence of Sadguru and all the near and dear ones.

Special bhandara was prepared and served to all.
