Sonu Nigam held the audience spellbound for over two hours with his fabulous music solo no back-up singer to support him at the Foxwood Casinos Theater on Sunday Oct 2.  The concert started over an hour late. “ We are extremely professional people and are usually never late to start a concert. But travelling from Austin, TX to Connecticut, it took this much time to actually set everything up. I apologize for the delay but promise to make it up ” said Sonu Nigam, as he took the stage in his beautiful blue outfit. And make-up for the delay he did by setting the stage on fire from the get go!!!

Starting off with his all time hit Rang de Basanti Chola, he kept the audience entertained with his high-energy beautiful rendition of  original variations on the main melody of a wide range of hot Bollywood numbers. The orchestra was   superb and supported him perfectly.

It was hard to believe that he could just keep going continuously at such a high energy level.  He seemed unstoppable.  There was a touching moment during the evening when he invited Suresh Wadkar from the audience and asked him to sing “Tumse Milke” which Wadkar delivered magnificently.  Wadkar had to cancel his own tour due to an injury caused by an accident and was touched by the gesture.  â€œIn out industry Sonu is at the absolutely top”, said Wadkar.

Sonu Nigam went on to sing new versions of several golden oldies. His complete control of the stage and his music made him a true master. Whether it is ability to communicate and connect with his audience or just deliver a fabulous rendition of a familiar Bollywood number Sonu Nigam proved that he is complete entertainer who has the ability to have the over 3000 members of the audience truly pleased that they stayed up late on Sunday night to listen to his concert.
