New England Shirdi Sai Temple Is Celebrating Sharat Navratri Utsav

New England Shirdi Sai Temple (NESSP) is celebrating Sharat Navratri utsav starting October 1st through 10th October. Vijay Dashami and Baba Maha Samadhi pooja will be performed on October 11th. During Navratri various Samuhik poojas like Shailaputri pooja, Sri Devi Khadgamala Namavali pooja, Brahmacharini Devi Pooja, Sri Devi Manasa pooja, Chandraghanta pooja, Lakshmi Ashtottara archana, Lalitha Sahasra nama stotra parayan and many other poojas will be performed.

Regional festivals like Garba, Batukamma  are also being celebrated on 7th and Oct, 9th OctOber.

NESSP is introducing its first ever Bommala Koluvu/ Golu (display of dolls and figurines) in the temple.  Golu is an integral part of the nine day festival especially in South India.

 

Saraswati devi pooja and Samuhik aksharabhyasam will be performed in the temple where all the kids can participate and get blessings to prosper in education and gain wisdom.

NESSP cordially invite one and all to participate in various samuhik Devi poojas and get the blessings of Durga Mata and Sadguru Sainath. As always, NESSP performs all samuhik poojas at temple and archanas at free of cost.

NESSP is an independent local organization that has been serving the devotee needs for last nine years. NESSP is run by a dedicated team of volunteers. In addition to temple related activities, NESSP has an active Charitable and Philanthropy charter. The different charitable activities NESSP has undertaken in the past are: Disaster Relief, Annadaan (food donation) to the homeless, Winter Clothes drive – Collection and distribution of warm winter clothes to the needy, Blood donation drives, Teamwalks and backpack drives. NESSP Conducts monthly once Free health camps, Dental camps, and weekly free Yoga sessions. For kids, NESSP Conducts chess classes, Annual Academic competitions.

NESSP is building a Permanent Sai Temple at Groton-MA and planning to Inaugurate by end of this year.
