American India Foundation Presents: Vision Forward, A Discussion

09/08/2016

American India Foundation welcomes you to

                         Vision Forward:

A discussion on Empowering the Visually Impaired in India

India shoulders the largest burden of global blindness- an estimated 15 million visually impaired people live in India. In addition, there are more than 120 million people with low

vision conditions that cannot be corrected, cured, or treated. What are the challenges facing these people while they struggle to achieve an independent and dignified life for themselves? What are the opportunities we can create for them to develop their talents/skill, which will rightfully empower them as a valuable and contributing member of the society?

Join us to learn what American India Foundation and organizations like EnAble India and Vision Aid are doing to empower persons with visual impairment and transform their lives.
