NESSP Back To School Drive-Youth Villages

New England Shirdi Sai Parivaar’s (NESSP’s ) mission is to promote the philosophy of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba and to accordingly support religious, spiritual, cultural, and charitable activities. In accordance with this mission statement NESSP has been joining with Youth Villages, a private nonprofit organization dedicated to helping emotionally and behaviorally troubled children and their families live successfully, for the past 7 years. NESSP has provided devotees an opportunity to help children and families with their back to school needs through Youth Villages. This year NESSP with the help of several devotee's generous donations was able to fund supplies for teachers and supplies to fill 51 backpacks for students. These backpacks are filled with pencils, pens, notebook, folders, and more. It gives children all the school supplies they will need as they start school this upcoming September. By others providing these children the supplies they need for school, families have one less thing to worry about. These children have shown their gratitude in letters that Youth Villages has shared. It shows how much of a real difference this makes in their lives. NESSP’s mission is to support several different types of spiritual, cultural, and charitable activities in the Boston area. The back to school drive held every year is just one of the ways that NESSP and its devotees are able to help the community and its people in need. This back to school drive has become an annual event to give back to the community. You can be part of this back to school drive by donating towards it through NESSP.NESSP is an independent local organization that has been serving the devotee needs for last nine years. NESSP is run by a dedicated team of volunteers. In addition to temple related activities, NESSP has an active Charitable and Philanthropy charter. The different charitable activities NESSP has undertaken in the past are: Disaster Relief, Annadaan (food donation) to the homeless, Winter Clothes drive – Collection and distribution of warm winter clothes to the needy, Blood donation drives, Team walks and backpack drives. NESSP Conducts monthly once Free health camps, Dental camps, and weekly free Yoga sessions. For kids, NESSP Conducts chess classes, Annual Academic competitions.

NESSP is a standalone nonprofit organization, 501C (3), Tax Exempt status from IRS (Tax ID-20-5288174) currently located in Chelmsford, Massachusetts.

NESSP is building a Permanent Sai Temple at Groton-MA and planning to Inaugurate by end of this year. The construction is in full speed and is looking for contributions from the community for the completion of Phase I.
