Shri Sai baba always taught the devotees by his own example, about the importance of selfless service and to support the people in need. He always showed love and compassion for all. This simple and powerful message of Sai calling for selfless service with love is one of the foundation pillar of NESSP.

New England Shirdi Sai Parivaar, has a very active charity and philanthropy charter. As part of this, NESSP conducted a dance and bhajan evening by the students of Deepa academy. Deepa Academy, A Non-Profit Organization, is based in Bangalore, India, with a mission of empowering the differently abled with quality education and promoting overall development with the guiding principles of self-help, interaction and involvement.

A group of 6 differently abled students performed on last Thursday (14^th July) evening at Lotus feet of Baba was amazing and truly spell bound the audience. The program lasted for 2 hours and its simply exceptional performance by these students.

NESSP is an independent local organization that has been serving the devotee needs for last nine years. NESSP is run by a dedicated team of volunteers. In addition to temple related activities, NESSP has an active Charitable and Philanthropy charter. The different charitable activities NESSP has undertaken in the past are: Disaster Relief, Annadaan (food donation) to the homeless, Winter Clothes drive – Collection and distribution of warm winter clothes to the needy, Blood donation drives, Teamwalks and backpack drives. NESSP Conducts monthly once Free health camps, Dental camps, and weekly free Yoga sessions. For kids, NESSP Conducts chess classes, Annual Academic competitions.
