The Iconic Avatar Sunday, July 24, 2016, 4:00 PM at The Littleton High School Theater, Littleton, MA All proceeds benefit the visually disadvantaged Following in the footsteps of the dazzlingly brilliant, sold-out dance productions Ramayana, Krishna, Justice of the Anklet, Nine Pathways to Devotion, Slaying of the Demons, The Dancer’s Pledge and Samprati-Beyond Time, the Vision-Aid team is delighted to present "The Iconcic Avatarâ€, an epic dance ballet based on the quintessential Ramayana, as retold by the great Tamil poet Kamban. This production is an exquisite exploration of the universal themes of love, devotion, courage, compassion and surrender, woven together by the masterful genius of renowned choreographer Mr. Madurai R Muralidaran, and will bring together the finest dance talent from Boston. English narration will make this wonderful show accessible and enjoyable for all! The concept and choreography for this production are by Madurai R. Muralidaran of Chennai, India, a renowned dance choreographer who has won critical acclaim for his creations in Bharatanatyam. He has over 300 compositions to his credit, including his most recent Boston productions, Slaying of the Demons (2012) and The Dancer's Pledge (2014), which still has audiences in Boston talking!
