Hosted by Indian Institutes of Technology Association of Greater New England  

The Indian Institute of Technology Association of Greater New England (IIT AGNE) invites you to join us as we bring together a dazzling array of thought leaders across industries and technologies, a gathering to paint a vision of the future. To highlight the opportunities for change and to explore how it will impact you personally, at work and within the larger society. The theme of the 2016 Leadership Conference is “Leading transformation for a better tomorrow: Technologies that lift the human spirit” highlights the transformational impact science and technology have on our lives. 

Business Plan Competition 

As part of the conference, we are pleased to announce a technology business plan competition. 

Who  
If you are a legal entity with an innovative product and business proposal or a young company looking for funding and publicity, consider entering our competition! Entrants’ industries can include, but are not limited to: information technology, bio-technology, green technologies, medical, advanced manufacturing, engineering. 

What 
This is going to be an exciting event at the conference with visibility from Venture Capitalists, Angel Investors and decision makers from leading enterprises and highly talented pool of technical, marketing and business folks. Cash prizes totaling $25,000 will be offered to the winning entries. 

When  
Applications will be open until July 10th, after which time finalists will be chosen and informed. The final round for the Business Plan Competition will be held at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI on Sunday, August 14, 2016.

The artists were Ustad Naseeruddin Sami, legendary vocalist from Lahore, Pakistan and his talented sons and disciples. Sona Datta introduced the artists and the topic of Sufi traditions.

A Jugalbandhi For Ekal Vidyalaya Organized By Abhyaas School Of Music

On a warm and breezy afternoon of June 18th, the audience was swathed in divine music coming from the very soul of the musicians that came together to benefit Ekal Vidyalaya. The musical ensemble comprised of Boston based musicians with special musical guests from New Delhi, India! Husband and wife duo Raghuraman Govindarajan (Carnatic flute) and Sudha Raghuraman (vocal) were featured artistes joining artistic excellence with Aparna Balaji (vocal), K.V.S. Vinay (Carnatic violin), Mahalingam Santhanakrishnan (mridangam) and Amit Kavthekar (Tabla) to create a fabulous blend of Carnatic and Hindustani music.

Indian Americans for Burlington (IAB) participated in the Annual "Burlington Pride Parade" sponsored by American Legions. This is the second time in the history of Burlington that Indian community has proudly paraded along the side of Burlington community in the streets of Burlington, holding IAB banner and dancing to Bollywood music and bhajans.
