Association For India’s Development, Boston chapter presents Upasana's "Sheva...my precious Treasure", the premier of an ingenious original production featuring breathtaking and refreshing new choreography, featuring over 40 performers from the Boston and Albany area.

This production choreographed in the authentic Odissi style with a contemporary concept has a refreshing perspective on the elements of nature, explored through poetry, music, drama, yoga and digital experience. It explores the interaction of the human existence with the elements of nature and is presented through a combination of poetry in motion, pure dance and traditional Sanskrit verses. The lyrics are carefully selected from a wide-range of Sanskrit literatures such as the Vedas, Upanishads, devotional and Kavya and presented as a hymn to the elements. Dance is a powerful medium to raise awareness and this is an attempt to reconnect the human soul with nature.

All proceeds support projects by AID Boston.
