IMANE went to Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen in Waltham and provided food for homeless people.

Food was really appreciated by the people. About 100 people came for food.

Many friends joined as well at the soup kitchen and helped in serving food and doing the clean up after food.

At Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen, every night, between 60 and 110 people come to the kitchen for a hot, nutritious meal prepared and served by volunteers.  In addition to the hot meal program, 18,000 sandwiches are prepared annually for the homeless. Meal is served at 5:00PM.

The kitchen relies heavily on volunteers, donated food and paper products from local businesses, churches, schools and individual residents of Waltham and the surrounding communities.

Huge Round of applause for Dr. Devila Shah and Dr. Pramod Shah for their generous donation. I would like to thank Committee members, IMANE members and friends who came and helped at the kitchen.- Dr. Sadhna Bhatia, Dr. Naveen Pandaraboyina, Dr. Devila Shah, Dr. Meera Subramaniam, Razia Boston, Suhaib Siddiqui and Bhavana Motiwala. I would also like to thank Paresh Motiwala and Dr. Deepak Takhtani who came late after beating the traffic. IMANE members and friends really felt fortunate after serving food to the homeless people and seeing their gratifying smiles after serving food.

Next upcoming event is "BE FIT BE COOL” Childhood Obesity Campaign at Sharon High School on March 4th. Please join and make this event a great success
