Bharatanatyam Lecture Demonstration At The Museum Of Fine Arts, Boston
Sunanda Narayanan and her students of the Thillai Fine Arts Academy in Newton performed two engaging Bharathanatyam lecture-demonstrations at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston on March 15th and 18th, 2015. The programs, which ran a full 3 hours, led the viewer through an exposition of classical Bharatanatyam, which followed the traditional margam.

IAFPE Hosts Forum For Candidates For The 11th Worcester District State Representative
The Massachusetts Chapter of the Indian American Forum for Political Education (IAFPE-MA) hosted a joint non partisan candidate forum with the India Society of Worcester (ISW) for political candidates for the 11th Worcester District State Representative at The India Center in Shrewsbury, MA, on March 22nd. Attendees included political candidates Jason Palitsch (D) and Hannah Kane (R), as well as members of the Indian American, Westborough and Shrewsbury communities.

IndiArt - Bridging Children Through Art
This year IndiArt had over 100 participants and the theme for IndiArt 2015 was 'Colors of rural India'. The participants got the opportunity to work with IndiArt ambassadors. First prize winner Nikhil Jagan, who is only a second grader, in a touching gesture donated his entire winning of 200$ to Ekal Vidyalaya!
