Ekal - ATFS Math Bee Date announced – May 9^th

In 2014, ATFS joined hands with Ekal Vidyalaya organization and ATFS joined hands to conduct a Math Bee. Through this contest last year, Ekal and ATFS were able to support 10 schools of Ekal. This year the two organizations have decided to work together again and conduct Math Bee for students of grades 3 – 8 on May 9^th, 2015. The test will be conducted at two separate locations and will also offer the popular college admission workshop as families wait for the results of the contest. Last year many families benefitted from this workshop and both organizations hope to make the contest and workshop bigger and better this year. Similar to last year, Ekal and ATFS plan to conduct these workshops this year as well. Ivy students will discuss preparation for colleges, and all participants will win a certificate for community service while winners will be rewarded with certificates and trophies/medals

Executive Director of Ekal, Ranjani Saigal said she is very excited about this opportunity and hopes that more and more families can utilize this channel to not only challenge and motivate their own children but also fund the education of under privileged in India, through this initiative. According to Gauri Chandna, Director ATFS, contest details are being finalized and will be announced soon through the ATFS website. Contest enrollment rules and forms will be available online within the next few weeks.
