NESSP Thanks All The Devotees And Volunteers

NESSP thanks all the devotees and volunteers for their exceptional support as it completes the possesstion of Temple Land in Groton MA

Where devotees have been coming together since 2006 in a unique way, as a large family of Baba, to serve Baba and the New England community, Where devotees and volunteers serve selflessly , where the community and service comes first, where Baba's message of Love and Seva resonates with all and where the temple is open for anyone in the community : That is NESSP today.

With the blessings of Shri Sai and support from all of you, NESSP has completed the process to acquire the Land and has got the possession of the Land to build the Permanent Shirdi Sai Temple and Mission Center.

This is a 28 acre land in Groton, MA which will be the permanent home for Baba. The town of Groton had approved the site plan permits and building permist and NESSP plan's to do a ground breaking very soon.  

At this time We would again like to thank all the volunteers and devotees who have helped NESSP to have come to this level and we look forward for your continued support for NESSP Shirdi Sai Temple vision and mission and various activities.

NESSP currenly operated out of a 7200 Sq feet rented facility in Chelmsford, MA.This temple is a second home to most of the devotees who come inside. It's almost impossible to move out when you are connected with a loving glance of Baba in the temple. The temple offers various seva opportunities for the devotees of all ages first home for most.

At this juncture of time , NESSP needs your support . We are targetting to raise funds and awareness for the divine project and would like each and everyone to come forward and support this divine project .

New England Shirdi Sai Parviaar ( NESSP ) mission is to promote the philosophy of Shri Shirdi Sai Baba and to support religious, spiritual, cultural and charitable activities in New England. Its vision is to establish a permanent Shri Shirdi Sai Mandir in New England and facilitate worship services to devotees. NESSP stands for New England Shirdi Sai Parivaar. It’s a 501 c 3 organization that was started in 2006 .

NESSP is an independent local organization that has been serving the devotee needs for last 9 years. In addition to temple related activities, NESSP also believes in helping the community that its part of. We have an active Charitable and Philanthropy charter. NESSP strives to serve the community .The different charitable activities we have undertaken in the past are: •Disaster Relief, Annadaan to the homeless, Winter Clothes drive - Collection and distribution of warm winter clothes to the needy, Red Cross Blood donation drives, Lowell General hospital cancer center walks. –

Ask any kids and they love to come to temple. Sometimes it's to meet their friends and other times it's to participate in the lot of fun filled educational activities that includes but not limited to Chess , Story Telling, Bhajans . We are constantly working to enhance the youth activities which include College councilling, sessions by eminent educationists and trips to MIT.

NESSP is run by dedicated volunteers. The temple opening seva is also managed by devotee families along with the priests and anyone can sign up as volunteer to open and serve Baba for the day. We are blessed to have a very strong and committed volunteer team and that is our strength.
