Bachchan Mania Grips Bostonians !!

Last Saturday November 15th Dwarkamai Hosted Chhora Ganga Kinare Wala – annual musical event, fundraiser to support Sai temple.

The event - a tribute to Star of The Millennium –Amitabh Bachchan was well conceived and flawlessly executed ,fast paced and capturing different emotions of the movies of the Living legend in his career span of four decades.

Event began with nostalgic memory of Radio when Ameen Sayaani shared  his experience with Amitabh Bachchan’s stage show (Recorded audio clips), his personal commentary throughout  the show was the highlight and got maximum clapping from 500 plus audience at Ashland High school.

Opening song Mein Hoon Don was a great jump start to set the mood of the event .Team of gifted singers from Boston Area  Mohan Subramaniam, Valentino Almeida, Anuradha Palakurthi, Sowmya, Nidhi Tare, Rajiv Gangurde and Sriram  refreshed the memory when they sang popular songs of Amitabh bachchan movies.

All the songs were woven together by popular scenes of the living legend which was a visual treat for Bachchan fans. Audience were glued to their seats when they got to watch popular scenes from Don, Sholey, Namak Halal and popular songs  by super talented singers .

Audience was taken to a nostalgic ride down memory lane when Radio Host for 40 years  (Sounds of India) Harish Dang recited few lines of Sahir Ludhiyanvi in his ever popular style. Preetesh Srivastava kept the audience on their feet with his jokes and audience participation. Praveen Misra and Harish Dang recited few lines of Madhushala before ending  the 3 hours non stop  fun filled evening.

Dwarkamai Musical  event was conceived and coordinated by Praveen Misra with the help of host team - Suresh Sharma, Harish dang, Anil Chawla, Vasshali sabnis & Maddie Phadke along with dedicated  volunteers from Dwarkamai, Gurusthand and Sai Chavdi.  Flawless sound was managed by Jawed Wahid.
