Marathi, Tamil, Gujrathi, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Punjabi, Telugu, Hindi, etc.
After a thumping show in 2013 SwaRaag Performing Arts is back again aligning contestants to partake in their 2014 Bollywood Music & Dance Competition. The competition has several interesting categories with auditions for a few running this Saturday Sep 27th at Sheraton, Framingham. Solo Dance, Duo Dance and Spot Choreography auditions along with Solo Song auditions. Solo Song for the Junior Age group 9-16 years of age has been further opened to all Regional Languages bringing more variety in the singing categories.
Auditions for Group Dance and Song Lyrics are in the coming weeks. Group Dance auditions are by video to be submitted by end of day Oct 5th, whereas Song Lyrics are by mail to be submitted by end of day Oct 12th.
Song Lyrics category is a new introduction this year where the the topic is 'Yaad' or 'Memories' . The contestant is required to write 10-20 lines OR 2-4 paragraphs either in Hindi or English. With composers on the SwaRaag team, winning lyrics are to be made into a composition.
