Wheat Ladoos

Ingredients
 Whole wheat flour- 3 cups
 Sesame seeds- 4-5tbsp
 Coconut- 1 cup (grated) 
Jaggery- 1 ½ cups
 Ghee- 8-9 tbsp 

Take the whole wheat flour in a large container, add a little water and make a firm dough. Roll out the dough into small balls. Now place a frying pan over the gas oven and add 2tbsp of ghee to it. Fry the dough balls in it over a low flame until golden brown in colour. Then take it off the pan, let it cool and then put in a mixer grinder to make a fine powder out of it. Keep it aside. Add 1tbsp of ghee in the same pan. Fry the sesame seeds and coconut in it over a low flame for 3-4 minutes and then take it off. Keep this aside in a small container. Add the remaining ghee into the pan and fry the jaggery in it for 2-3 minutes on a low flame. Add 3-4tbsp of water to it and let it melt. Now add the fried wheat flour, sesame seeds and coconut to it. Mix well for 3-4 minutes on a low flame and then turn off the gas oven. Apply some ghee on your palms and make small round shapes with your hands. Repeat this for the whole mixture and your churma ladoos are ready to be served.

Steamed Modak 

Ingredients: 
1. 1 cup rice flour 
 1 cup water .
 1 cup jaggery (powdered) 
1 cup fresh coconut (grated) 
 2 tsps poppy seeds 
 Salt to taste 
 Oil for frying 

Fry poppy seeds dry and mix with jaggery and coconut.  Add the mixture to a pan and stir constantly.  Make small balls of the mixture.  In another pan, boil water and add rice flour, salt and stir well (dough consistency).  Knead the dough well and roll into small circular discs. Stuff the filling and cover it like momos.  Steam for 20 minutes. Tasty steamed modaks ready to serve. 

Badam Ladoos

Ingredients: 
200 gms Badam(Almonds)
50 gms Sugar 
50 ml  Green Cardamom, 
Powdered 100 gms Ghee (Clarified Butter) 
A few chopped Almonds

 Method:
 Boil the Almonds in water for 5 mts. Peel their skin and roughly crush them. Heat Ghee in a kadai. Then add the crushed Almonds and fry for 6 - 7 mts. Add , Sugar and Cardamom powder to it and mix well. Keep aside to cool. Mixture for the Laddoos is ready. Make small balls of this mixture and serve, garnished with chopped Almonds.

Coconut Ladoos

Ingredients
 Coconut- 2 cups (grated)
Condensed milk- 2 cups
Sugar- 1 cup 
Cardamom powder- 1tsp 
Almonds- 4-5 halved 
 Butter- 1tsp 

Boil the condensed milk in a deep bottomed pan. Boil for about 10 minutes. Stir at short intervals to prevent it from sticking on the surface of the pan. Now add the grated coconut and mix well so that the milk is absorbed by the coconut. Boil for another 10-15 minutes on a low flame. Add the sugar and stir. Once the sugar melts, put the pan off flame.Now add the cardamom powder and mix well. Grease your palms with butter and make round ladoos of the mix when it is hot. Coconut ladoo with condensed milk is ready to eat. Garnish with almonds and serve. You can also store them in air tight containers.
