Narada Bhakti Sutra (Aphorisms on Devotion), jnana yajga (discourses) by Swami Shantananda
Narada Bhakti Sutra A mere ethical and moral life cannot by itself bring about the spiritual solace and intense personal experience which are the demands of all spiritual seekers. A true spiritual seeker demands a perfect and full experience of the Infinite Beautitude. This demand is achieved by devotion. In this book, Sage Narada, an eternal devotee of Narayana, instructs us on the philosophy of love and devotion towards the Supreme Brahman. Swami Shantananda, wth his immaculate oratory skills, guides us through Swami Chinmayananda's commentary to discover this divine love in ourselves and explore the fulfillment of this divine love. Swami Shantananda Swami Shantananda is a senior Acharya in charge of the Chinmaya Mission Tri-State Center in Pennsylvania, USA. He studied ancient scriptures at the Institute of Vedantic Studies, Bombay in 1978 and spent two years meditating in the Himalayas in preparation for the rigors of an ascetic life. He also served for several years as personal secretary to H.H. Swami Chinmayananda Saraswati. He has been instrumental in building the Chinmaya Mission in Hong Kong, Taiwan and other parts of the world. Since 1992, when he was given Sannyas by Pujya Gurudev, Swamiji has dedicated him life to the full time teaching of Vedanta in the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York area. As a speaker, Swamiji’s talks are filled with wonderful insights into life and people respond instantly to his wisdom and affectionate nature. In 2001, Swamiji undertook and completed 50 Geeta Gnana Yagnas all around the world as his personal tribute to Param Pujya Gurudev. Swami Shantanda is known for his humour and his inspirational delivery of discourses on the sacred texts of India. Mon-Fri, Sep 10-14, 10:30-11:30 am
