Sunday, May 20, 2012, 10 AM – 4 PM In this workshop you will learn a Vedic based approach to an hour long ceremony: * How to interpret and convey the meaning of these steps to non-Hindus * How to chant Sanskrit mantras * How to incorporate family traditions and regional variations * How to plan and conduct a rehearsal Dr. Srinivasan has many decades of experience in performing Hindu weddings. He is the author of (1) THE VEDIC WEDDING: Origins, Tradition and Practice and (2) Hinduism for Dummies. Other publications posted on his site. Register no later than April 1, 2012.
