Upcycle Art - Creating Art from Used Objects/Billerica
Upcycle Art - Creating Art from Used Objects.....This class will introduce the children to create unique art pieces with used objects from daily life.... Kids will create a new project each week by applying their imagination.... Some of the art work they will create for example will be Tile Painting, Real Pressed Flower Art, Bookmarks, Cards, using cereal boxes, paper towel tubes etc..... For the final project they will make canvas painting with acrylics. All the material will be provided for the course.... The course will end with an exhibition of the arts created by children to encourage their creativity and efforts.... Art Teacher's Introduction.... The class will be conducted by Gopika Narula who is an experimental and self taught artist, who likes to work with mixed and traditional media such as acrylics and water colors..... She is very active in local community as part time instructor at Michaels in Chelmsford, teaching Arts at Chelmsford Community Center and has served as Board member of Chelmsford Arts Society for the last 6 years..... She has organized a Summer Art Camp where kids learnt fabric painting, candle making, glass painting, sketching and much more.....
