Laasya 2010
BU Dheem and MIT Natya invite you to a unique and important event - Laasya, the first and only intercollegiate Indian Classical Dance competition in the northeast! We hope to spread greater cultural awareness, promote the classical arts, and through this effort, raise money for the recent tragedy in Haiti.
Laasya was born out of the realization that though an understanding of Indian culture is growing primarily through the Indian film industry, or ‘Bollywood,’ there is very little awareness about the rich heritage of traditional and classical Indian arts. Our community is small but alive with talent and culture. We invite you to an unforgettable experience of Indian culture through ornate costume, song, and dance.

Also, in light of recent events, a portion of the night's proceeds will be donated to the Haiti Relief Fund.
Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door
