The Indian-American Parent’s Challenge: Kids and Culture - A talk by Meenal Pandya followed by a lively discussion, presented by the Teach India Project. On Saturday May 30th, 11 a.m. to 12 noon, at the Burlington Public Library, 22 Sears Street, Burlington, MA 01803 Meenal Pandya is the author of “The Indian Parenting Book” and hundreds of articles on the cultural life of Indians. She says,” How to raise culturally balanced children in America is, I think, the challenge that all Indian parents face. We need a practical approach to translate cultural values in everyday life so that our children understand and accept them and yet remain in sync with their peers.” Join us for a talk with the author followed by a lively discussion.
