Dishoom! Culture Show
Each year, the South Asian American Students put on a culture show. The event is a showcase of the many diverse talents that exist within the MIT South Asian American community. Every year Kresge is filled to capacity with students, family, and faculty. It consists of acts ranging from dancing, to singing, to comedy. This show is an ideal way to represent a huge portion of the student body to the Boston and Cambridge area in a positive way. It is an evening of fun and culture that is unlike anything else offered at MIT. SAAS was awarded the Undergraduate Program of the Year Award for Culture Show 2006. The award was given at the Student Leaders Recognition Reception by the Student Life Programs Office.
