Shatranj Ke Mohre - Hindi Play
Perennial Theater Production presents “Shataranj Ke Mohare,” (Chess Pieces) the Hindi adaptation of the Marathi play “Tuzhe Aahe Tujapashi” by P.L. Deshpande. Directed by Mohan Dali, the comedy deals with self-actualization and answers complex questions about life and the way one chooses to lead it through the use of wit and humour. Proceeds of the show benefit projects that care for mentally retarded children, the education of tribal students and the empowerment of women in rural areas. Directions: From I-95 south - take exit 10b (Rt. 117 west). As soon as you come down exit ramp, you will see two traffic lights. Take a right at second light. This is the Tollgate High School Complex. Go up the hill to the first road that branches off to the right, and take that right. Follow that road around the bend until you see a school on your left (that is Tollgate High School). Take a right turn away from school, and follow road until you see a left hand turn going up another hill (that is Winman Jr. H.S.). Take that left up the hill and follow around to the parking lot. Entrance is through door on the left. From I-95 north - take exit 10 (Rt. 117). At bottom of exit ramp, go left onto Rt. 117 West. Follow underneath Rt. 95. Take a right at second light. Follow above directions to navigate through the Tollgate High School Complex.
