A conversation between Alex Counts and Kendra Leith of MIT D-Lab with special guest MIT Professor Pawan Sinha. Join us for an evening with Alex Counts, author, consultant to nonprofit organizations, and founder of the Grameen Foundation. In conversation with D-Lab’s Kendra Leith, Alex will share key insights, reflections, and lessons learned from his extraordinary career in international development and microfinance that has spanned decades and continents. To close the evening, MIT Professor Sinha will discuss his work with Project Prakash, an organization championed by Alex Counts that is working to eradicate childhood blindness while advancing understanding of the human brain. A reception will follow. Alex’s three books will be available for purchase. The venue is the new Metropolitan Storage Warehouse (the MET) at MIT.
