Raagmaala Concert - Vioin and Tabla Performances
Hindustani violinist Dr.Sangeeta Shankar will be performing, accompanied by the virtuoso tabla performer Vinayak Netke. Sangeeta is a disciple of India's eminent violinist Dr.N.Rajam. Sangeeta has performed with Grammy winners like Bela Fleck and Vishwamohan Bhatt. She has also produced the music-based series "Sur Sadhana" on the Indian National Television. Vinayak Netke represents the Farukhabad percussion tradition of India and is a disciple of Pt.Arvind Mulgaonkar. ** Partially funded by the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts.
