Sikkil Mala:
Sikkil is famous as one of the prime shrines of Singaravelan. It was planted on the musical map of India by the renowned top flautists, the Sikkil Sisters- Kunjumani & Neela. Sikkil Mala Chandrasekhar is the daughter of the latter. It was a musical home with Kunjumani giving concerts since 1939 and Neela from 1947 and both as Sikkil Sisters since 1962. Mala thrived under the joint training of both sisters and by the age of fourteen she was an accomplished flautist. Her debut performance was at Krishna Gana Sabha in 1980. A vibrant artiste, Mala brings into her rendition verve, vigour and artistry with inherited technical excellence of her elders and a polish that is born of having been suckled from birth with classical music of the highest merit and laya precision, a legacy from her maternal percussionist-grandfather, Azhiyur Natesa Ayyar. Mala also received training from the noted vocalist Smt. Radha Viswanathan, which has influenced her repertoire and expertise. Mala has won numerous awards some of which are, Flute Mali Award from Madras Music Acadamy(98), Kalaimamani ftom the Tamil nadu Government (95), Best Flutist Award from YACM(90), Yuvakalabhrathi from Bharat Kalachar(96), Palladam Sanjeeva Rao Award(96). Mala has performed all over India as a flute trio with the Sikkil Sisters and as a flute artiste in Veena - Venu - Violin ensembles with Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi and Jayanti Ravikiran. She is an "A" grade artiste of the All India Radio. Mala was invited to perform by The National Flute Association Inc at their annual convention which held in Atlanta, Georgia between Aug 19 and 22, 1999.

Pravin Sitaram:
Pravin Sitaram received his traning in mridangam from Sri P. S. Parameswaran of Bombay. Sri Parameswaran is a disciple of the Late Sri Palghat T. S. Mani Iyer. Pravin has accompanied many musicians in Bombay and has participated and won prizes in several competitions. Since coming to the Boston area eight years back, Pravin has been very active in concert accompaniment of local artists as well as visiting artists from India. He has accompanied Late Dr. Chitti Babu and more recently, Sri T. V. Ramprasad, Mysore Srinath, Smt. Vani Satish, R. Prasanna, Smt. Revathi Ramaswamy, Sri Lalgudi Krishnan and Smt. Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi. Pravin has a Doctorate in Polymer Chemistry and resides in the Boston area.

K.V.S. Vinay:
Hails from a musical family. He is the grandson of Sangeetha Kalanidhi late Sri T.K. Jayarama Iyer, violinist and composer. Vinay had his initial training from Mrs. Vanaja Ararvamuthan and subsequently trained under late Sri V. Janakiraman and Sri Kovai B. Dakshinamurthy of All India Radio, Chennai. A concert performer for 20 years, Vinay has had the privilege of accompanying several leading musicians and performed as a successful solo artiste. He has featured on national radio and TV in India and has won many awards including an Indian government scholarship for training in music. Vinay is an economist by profession and lives in the New York area.
