Anil Singhal, NetScout Systems, Inc., Westford, MA Building a successful hi-tech company - Challenges, Setbacks, Rewards and Excitements

Anil Singhal is the President, CEO and Co-founder of NetScout Systems. Anil, in 1984, co-founded Frontier Software as a software consulting firm. The company moved to product development in early 90s and changed its name to NetScout Systems, before going public in 1999. NetScout currently employs 350 people and has approximately $ 70 M in annual revenues. Anil holds a BS in Electrical engineering from BITS, Pilani and an MS in Computer Science from Univ. of Illinois, Urbana Champaign.

Ashok Sood, Magnolia Optical Technologies, Inc., Waltham, MA Optical technologies for homeland security

Dr. Ashok Sood is a 25-years industry veteran engaged in developing and managing optical and optoelectronics technology for companies such as Lockheed, Loral, Honeywell, and Tyco International. Dr Sood co-founded Magnolia Optical Technologies, Inc. to develop integrated, high-speed optical modules for optical communications and optoelectronics marketplace. Ashok received his B.S. (1967) and M.S. (1969) in Physics (Honors) from the University of Delhi, India. He also received M.S. (1973) and Ph.D. (1975) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.

Directions: Take Route 93 North to Route 95 South / Rte 128 South to Route 3 North. Take Route 3 North through Massachusetts into New Hampshire. Stay on Route 3 North (Route 3 becomes Everett Turnpike a toll road). Take Exit 10 (exit pay toll 50ยข). Right turn at end of exit ramp and get in left lane. Take left at the light onto Daniel Webster Highway (Rt. 3). You will pass by the Anheuser Busch plant on your right. Go straight through 1 light and continue a short distance.
