Milan - Garba/Raas/Bhangra @MIT
Milan is SAAS's annual dandia raas, garba, and bhangra celebration. It is always held in early October, in time for Navaratri (Oct 2 - 10). Traditionally, Milan is a very cultural dance, in which participants come clothed in ethnic attire--kurta/pajamas, langas, etc. Milan is open to all college students. This year Milan will be held on Oct. 4th from 8-12 PM in Rockwell Cage. This event has traditionally been a resounding success. The night is usually a spectacular mix of garba/dandia raas and bhangra! 600+ people attended last year, yet we still had to turn some away. Come early please!!!!
