The Boston Chapter of the American India Foundation (AIF) is pleased to invite you to it's third annual GANDHI DAY WALKATHON Sunday, October 5th, 2003 9am check-in Artesani Park, Brighton, MA. AIF's grants are focused on education and livelihood projects with a particular emphasis on primary education and women's empowerment. Cost: Registration is now open on-line at: https://secure.entango.com/donate/gx9V78E4mwk A minimum $10 registration fee is required for every walker over 8 years of age; children under 8 years of age may participate free of charge. You may also register on-site at Artesani Park for $15 on the day of the event.
Food: Following the walk, there will be a picnic including vendors from several of Boston's favorite Indian restaurants selling lunch items.
