The Meadowbrook Waldorf School presents "Night In India"
This celebration will feature an elegant meal provided by India Restaurant, voted best Indian restaurant in RI for the past six years. Durga Krishnan, a graduate of the Carmatic College in India and primary disciple of the renowned veena maestro, the late Sri Dr. Chittibabu will perform on the veena. A highlight of the evening will be a performance of Kathak Dance by members of the Boston branch of the Chhandam Institute of Kathak Dance led by Gretchen Hayden, a senior disciple of Kathak Dance Master, Chitresh Das.
