Kaladhaara
Kaladhaara presents an evening filled with the melodies and rhythms of classical Indian music and dance. Join us on January 4th, 2014 to see performances by violinist Rasika Murali, vocalist Shria Paraashar, and dancers Divya Krishnan and Swathi Krishnan. This evening’s show is a fundraiser that will support AIM for Seva’s Student Home Building Project. The All India Movement (AIM) for Seva is an integrated community development program, reaching out to rural and tribal children (and adults) across 15 Indian states. Its goal is to provide access, enhance the quality of education, teach life skills in an environment that’s conducive to learning: AIM for Seva Free Student Homes (FSH). FSH is a living ecosystem, an activity center, a classroom and a learning institute, all rolled into one. Essentially, FSH empowers rural children to learn by providing a place to live close to schools; with a clean environment, nutritious food, value-based education, and extracurricular activities.
