ISW Dance Competition NachLe
Auditions: Date to be announced. Expected to be between October 25-27, 2013 (Top 5 in each category will compete on Nov 17, 2013 live) Deadline: October 20th, 2013 Two categories: Solo or group allowed Rules: 1. Only one entry per group or per individual participant allowed. i.e. One participant cannot perform across multiple groups or have single performances alongside group performances. 2. Only 18+ is allowed. Any group or participant performing below the age of 18 will be disqualified. Be prepared to present proof of age. 3. Maximum performance length is 5 minutes. There will be negative marking for every minute exceeded 4. Costumes, lyrics and moves need to be culturally appropriate 5. Only one age group 18+ 6. No registration fee. Participants will be charged $5 per participant if they are a non-member for Nov 17 performance 7. Please get prior approval from us if you need to use special props like smoke machines and disco balls 8. Judges decision will be final and will be based on merit. No appeals will be permitted. Judges will be selected by ISW 9. There will be pre-assigned slots for each performance and we will not make changes to schedule to accommodate preferences. You may need to perform out of order due to unexpected circumstances 10. Participants need to appear in person for auditions and will be disqualified if they do not show up for auditions.
