Indian Americans For Burlington Open House

The Indian Americans in Burlington has come together to build a new organization who wants to support and work together to participate in activities of Town of Burlington, and meet the unique needs of the growing Indian population in Burlington . This organization is called the India Americans for Burlington (IAB). They will facilitate integration into the larger community and increase the capacity of the Indian community to address the needs of individuals and families and help each other in numerous ways.

IAB Mission

Promote Civic, Charitable, Community and Educational activities

IAB Purpose
The purpose is to unite Burlington residents of Indian origin to support the following causes:

Educational

Provide academic, cultural and intellectual interchange and support

Charitable

Participate in activities that support the charitable work of interest to Burlington residents.

Civic

Promote and participate in Civic and Administrative activities of Town of Burlington.

Community

Provide and support activities required by the Indian Community in terms of need and crisis.

 

IAB would like to invite and encourage all to join their current members for an open house. Which will be held in the Burlington Public library on April 2nd between 10.30AM to 12:30PM. At this open house IAB will present great strides it has made during the past six months.

Inesh Vytheswaran Wins 2nd Prize For Mridangam At Cleveland Thyagaraja Festival 2016


Inesh Vytheswaran is a thirteen year old, seventh grader at the Wellesley Middle school. He won second prize in the Junior Mridangam category (46 participants, ages 11-15) at the 2016 Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana.
